Light and Reflection
Project 01: 1 minute film – Geometric patterns
Create a 1 minutes film and project onto interior surface(s) in the university. Photograph/film a series of geometric patterns of city and nature in London and/or Berlin using your mobile phone and edit them using Adobe Premiere Pro.
Project 02: Modular structural components
Select a geometric pattern of city and/or nature and develop it into a modular structural component to create a virtual interior space using CAD.
My Concept is about reflection that is shown through materials and light.
I created a 1 minute film showing different colours, repetition and reflections of spaces and exhibitions that I visited.
I then chose an image to help me create my 3d component which was about repetitive triangles because I wanted to fill each triangle with mirror, acrylic sheet, light etc. to show a maze like space.
This structure is viewed from both exterior and interior, when you’re outside you could see transparent coloured glass or mirrors with a reflection on the floor.
As you enter in the middle of the space you could see an end point of a mirror in which represents continous space with reflective and transaprent coloured glass.
